I write queer mysteries and justice-driven thrillers about what happens when the truth is ignored — and who pays the price when it is.

My stories focus on false accusations, institutional failures, and the people who are dismissed as unreliable, inconvenient, or too complicated to listen to. Although my mysteries always end with finding one or more people who actually committed the crime, the story behind the story is always the people and systems who failed the victims.

I’m a transgender, autistic writer whose work is shaped by both lived experience and professional training. Before turning to fiction full-time, I worked as a social worker with people who had been negatively impacted by the criminal justice system and other, related systems. That perspective informs every story I tell.

When I’m not writing novels or screenplays, I contribute to media outlets like TV Fanatic, where I analyze stories that grapple with trauma, mental health, and the messy realities of being human.

If you’ve ever been underestimated, erased, or spoken about instead of listened to, my stories are for you.
